This is a custom carbon fiber steering wheel for your BMW, built from a photo of the wheel you want.

How it works
Place your order at the base price and send us a photo of the wheel you want, along with a photo of your current wheel if you have one. We review the design and confirm your final quote. The base price covers a carbon fiber wheel in a standard twill weave, and options such as forged carbon, LED shift lights, heating, Alcantara or a custom airbag cover are priced on top. If the final quote is above the base price, we send a payment link for the difference. If we cannot build the design, the order is refunded in full.

Most designs can be built for most BMW models.

Lead time
Production starts once you confirm the quote, and the wheel ships 21 to 41 days after that, about 30 days on average.

Installation
Fitting a steering wheel means removing and refitting the airbag, which is a job for a professional workshop. Every wheel swap also needs coding afterwards to clear the airbag fault, on M and non-M cars alike. Please get in touch with us before ordering, and make sure your installer has experience with this kind of work. Installation and coding are arranged and paid for by the customer, and CarbonXtreme does not cover installation labor costs.

Final inspection
Every finished wheel is inspected by us before it ships. If a wheel does not meet our standard, we hold it back and have it refinished or rebuilt, which can add time to the lead time. We ask for your understanding on this: a wheel that falls short of our standard does not ship.

Cancellation
This wheel is made to order. You can cancel for a full refund within 48 hours of receiving our quote. After that, the build is in production, and a cancellation is refunded after deducting the materials and labor already used, depending on how far the build has progressed.
