Product details

This kit adds M1/M2 buttons to the factory steering wheel of a non-M G-chassis BMW.

No cutting
The kit comes with a rear steering wheel cover that already has the openings cut for the buttons. Your original wheel does not need to be cut or drilled.

What's in the kit
M1 and M2 buttons, a module that sits inside the steering wheel, a second module for the center console, the wiring harness and the pre-drilled rear cover.

Fitment
Non-M G-chassis BMW models with the factory steering wheel. Cars that already have factory M1/M2 buttons, including BMW M models, cannot use this kit.

Installation
The center console module means the console trim has to come out. Fitting the buttons means removing and refitting the airbag, and the car needs coding afterwards to clear the airbag fault. Please get in touch with us before ordering, and make sure your installer has experience with this kind of work. Installation and coding are arranged and paid for by the customer, and CarbonXtreme does not cover installation labor costs.
