BMW S58 Engine Bay Strut Bar Matte Carbon Fiber
The S58 Engine Strut Bar by CarbonXtreme is a premium reinforcement upgrade crafted specifically for BMW’s S58 engine platform—found in models such as the G80 M3 and G82 M4. Designed in matte carbon fiber, this strut bar adds structural rigidity while giving your engine bay an unmistakable motorsport aesthetic.
This S58 engine strut bar is more than just a visual upgrade. Mounted directly over the engine bay between the front strut towers, it increases chassis stiffness and reduces body flex during hard cornering or aggressive driving. This results in improved steering response, sharper handling, and greater stability—whether on the street or the track.
The matte carbon finish enhances your under-hood presentation with subtle elegance. Unlike traditional glossy finishes, matte carbon delivers a stealthy, modern look that resists fingerprints and sun glare, making it ideal for daily-driven or show-spec builds.
The S58 engine strut bar is engineered for OEM-level fitment and installs using factory mounting points. No cutting, drilling, or fabrication is required, ensuring that the installation process is straightforward and completely reversible.
Each piece is finished with a UV-protected matte clear coat, safeguarding it from fading, yellowing, and surface degradation caused by prolonged engine bay heat or exposure to sunlight.
If you’re looking to combine performance reinforcement with premium carbon styling, the CarbonXtreme S58 Engine Strut Bar offers the perfect balance of function and design for G-series M cars.

Engineered to fit from day one
Built from OEM geometry and on-car scans, refined through multiple prototype corrections, then produced with metal tooling and jigs that control mounting-hole positions, edges and curvature. Each batch undergoes dimensional sampling so parts leave the line aligned to factory contours—reducing install effort and eliminating product-caused fitment issues.
Finish standards: flatness first
Many can get the structure right; few invest to make the surface look truly premium. We spend on interlayer leveling, fine sanding, multi-coat clear coat and controlled curing: straight reflections under strong light, crisp weave definition, and long-term resistance to UV yellowing, hazing and cracking. That’s the visible difference.
Delivery & support: fast and worry-free
A specialist replies within 2–8 hours after purchase. In-stock items ship within 2–3 days following final inspection (QC) and reinforced packing, with end-to-end tracking. Before dispatch, every unit receives a final inspection—jig-based mounting-hole/fit checks and bright-light surface review—to catch issues before they travel. If installation proves tricky, our engineering and support teams will assist, and any shipping issues are prioritized. Faster handoff and dependable service save you time and friction.

Upgrade with Confidence
Precision in Every Layer
For enthusiasts with higher expectations, we also offer a premium upgrade option: the Glasurit 923-447 (BASF) clear coat. Known for its scratch resistance and micro self-healing capability, this finish minimizes swirl marks under sunlight and delivers a showroom-grade gloss. Due to its demanding spray conditions and extended curing process, this option requires longer lead times and accounts for roughly 30% of the product’s value. It is reserved for customers who seek uncompromising quality and perfection.
No matter which option you choose, CarbonXtreme ensures that every piece reflects our pursuit of excellence—combining aesthetics, durability, and performance in one.
FAQs
Please read our FAQs page to find out more.
Will this fit my exact model, trim, and year (LCI/Pre-LCI, M Sport vs. base)?
Yes—fitment follows OEM geometry. At checkout we require your vehicle details (model/year, trim, LCI/Pre-LCI, bumper type/photos) and perform a second verification. If your selection doesn’t match your vehicle, we’ll alert you before fulfillment to correct it.
What if I have aftermarket bumpers or prior bodywork?
Aftermarket bumpers and vehicles with prior collisions or repairs (even minor scrapes) can alter mounting geometry, which may cause installation difficulty. We’ve seen cases where a previous accident left the bumper deformed, making parts hard to seat—this is not a product defect. Please have your installer inspect mounting points before ordering.
Do I need to drill or cut?
Dry carbon: installs via factory mounting points; no drilling is generally required, except some rear wings that may require trunk drilling.
Wet carbon: due to process characteristics and possible deformation during transit or humidity changes, self-tapping screws may be needed to secure fitment.
Will the carbon tone match if I replace a single piece later?
Single-piece replacements are available. Minor batch-to-batch tone variance is normal; for perfect symmetry on L/R paired parts, replacing as a set is recommended. If you purchased from us and later damaged a part in a collision, send photos— we can usually offer a returning-customer discount on the replacement.
Will sensors, radar, PDC, and tow-hook access still work?
Some carbon grilles include pre-cut radar/PDC windows. Please review product photos carefully or provide OEM front-end photos before ordering. We typically re-confirm before shipment. If a misread leads to the wrong variant being ordered, exchanges are possible, but additional shipping costs may apply.
Can I choose gloss vs. matte or request specific finish options?
Standard is multi-layer BASF (Glasurit) gloss. Matte clear and special finishes can be built to order; lead time will differ.
What’s included in the box? Will I need extra hardware or tape?
Each product page lists what’s included. Vehicle-specific clips/brackets are included when required; high-bond tape or fasteners are provided where applicable. If an item needs OE hardware reuse, we’ll state it clearly.
What happens if my item arrives damaged?
You’re covered. Contact us within 48 hours with photos of the outer box, inner packaging, labels, and the part. We’ll arrange a replacement or a fair resolution at no extra cost. Keep the packaging until we confirm next steps.
What payment methods do you accept? Is it secure? Under which law?
We accept PayPal and Useepay, settling in USD via secure gateways with industry-standard encryption and fraud screening. Our Terms are governed by UK law.
