Dealer Tiers & Financials

Purpose

This page explains CarbonXtreme’s tier structure, non-price benefits, wholesale discount/rebate/terms ranges, and MAP & quarterly review, plus sample margin math.

Note: Exact dealer buy prices (DBP) and payment terms are not shown here. They are issued after approval via a quarterly dealer price list (PDF/CSV, watermarked, with validity).

1) Definitions & Pricing Basis

  • MSRP / MAP: public price / minimum advertised price.

  • DBP (Dealer Buy Price): your actual buy price.

  • Wholesale discount (vs MSRP): used to compute DBP → DBP = MSRP × (1 − discount%).

  • Quarterly rebate: % granted after the quarter on compliant receivables (parallel to discount).

  • Referral reward: for D2C + Installer / Lead Pass flows when attribution is established; separate from dealer pricing.

2) Tiers & Non-Price Benefits (no hard numbers on this page)

Registered (entry)

  • No standing dealer discount (no permanent DBP yet).

  • Eligible for Installer / Lead Pass referral rewards when attribution applies.

  • Project or small-batch needs: request a one-time project quote (time/qty-limited; not a standing price).

  • (Optional) Provisional Trade Rate during review if documents are submitted (short validity; switches to standing DBP once approved).

  • Baseline support: dealer locator listing, starter brand assets, standard after-sales (12–24h response), monthly reconciliation & basic comms.

Silver (advanced)

  • Gains a standing dealer discount range (exact points in your quarterly price list).

  • Quarterly rebate on compliant run-rate; limited terms by approval; AUD$ settlement available for AU.

  • Benefits: higher map ranking + dedicated dealer page, curated photo kit & repost priority, priority reconciliation, priority tech replies, RMA fast lane, light priority for small-batch scheduling, dealer group comms, access to select promos/events (by approval).

Gold (core)

  • Better discount range and higher rebate/terms ranges (per quarterly list).

  • Benefits: category top placement, city/state priority recommendation, early fit demo / sample priority, demo-car/event support (by approval), custom clearcoat slot priority (temperature & humidity controlled booth), DDP rates/consolidation priority & urgent green lane, quarterly business reviews, case features, one-to-one commercial + technical contacts, soft regional conflict coordination.

Evaluation & progression

Quarterly rolling review across sell-through/attribution, MAP compliance, after-sales closure, and content participation to decide maintain / upgrade / remediate. Results shared by email & WhatsApp.

Violations (MAP breaks, unresolved after-sales delays, repeated install issues) may result in rebate suspension / downgrade / supply pause; restored upon passing remediation.

Materials & Process Principles (Pre-preg Dry Carbon vs Wet Lay-up)

Pre-preg Dry Carbon (Metal Tooling)

Process: Pre-impregnated fibres cured under controlled temperature and pressure (hot press or equivalent). Resin/fibre ratio and cure curve are repeatable, delivering higher dimensional and surface consistency.

Tooling systems:

  • Tool-steel die: high hardness and thermal stability, low CTE and high rigidity. Over long runs it offers the highest fitment ceiling and contour fidelity. Due to the high tooling cost, unit buy-prices are typically higher — ideal for customers who demand top fitment and finish.
Purchasing note: For large panels and critical exterior pieces (bonnet, boot lid, long aero), tool-steel is the safest path for “bolt-on and right”.
  • Aluminium tooling: fast heat transfer, shorter tool-build time and friendlier cost. Within a well-managed service life, fitment remains very high. Multiple heat cycles and demoulds can introduce very small cumulative shape drift, so long-term tolerances are slightly wider than tool-steel (more noticeable on long/large curvature parts).
Purchasing note: For small/medium non-safety exterior pieces, high-grade aluminium tools are usually sufficient; use tool-steel for extreme fitment on long parts.

Packing & transport: Pre-preg is less sensitive in transit but still requires proper support. We ship with professional protection by default (foam, corner guards, fixed supports and spec boxes) to minimise shipping damage and secondary deformation.
Purchasing note: Items can go straight to shelf check; store large parts on the provided supports to avoid long-term stress.

Wet Lay-up (Resin/Composite Tooling)

Process: Manual lay-up and on-site resin mixing, ambient/low-temp cure. Resin/fibre ratio, de-aeration and lay-up tension depend heavily on operator skill. Moulds are usually resin/GRP/composites with lower rigidity and thermal stability, limited reuse life and a higher risk of geometry drift.

Market reality: Quality is highly uneven; many makers avoid heavy tooling investment. Achieving stable wet lay-up output requires strict incoming/process checks and long-term supplier screening.
Purchasing note: If budget forces wet lay-up, include installation time and expectation management in the total cost, and prefer validated batches.

Usage advice: For “bolt-on fitment + high mirror consistency”, do not substitute dry with wet — especially for large or long parts (bonnet, boot lid, long skirts).
Purchasing note: Wet lay-up can be fine for small decorative pieces (with clear expectations); large parts should prioritise dry carbon.

3) Wholesale Economics (ranges only; specifics in your quarterly list)

  • Standing dealer discount (vs MSRP):

    Silver: 22%–25% off MSRP (category-dependent)

    Gold: 28%–32% off MSRP (category-dependent)

  • Quarterly rebate (on compliant receivables):

    Silver: 1%–2%

    Gold: 2%–4%

  • Payment terms (by approval):

    Silver: Prepay / Net 7–15

    Gold: Net 15–30

  • Currencies & FX: USD$ / AUD$ supported. AUD$ follows CarbonXtreme’s quarterly FX baseline (public examples below are indicative only).

4) Referral Rewards (separate from dealer pricing)

For D2C + Installer and Lead Pass when attribution is established (negotiable where stated):

  • USD$0–999: USD$60 / AUD$92 fixed (negotiable)
  • USD$1,000–1,999: 3% (cap USD$90 / AUD$138) (negotiable)
  • USD$2,000+: 2% (cap USD$120 / AUD$184) (negotiable)

Attribution qualifies if any of: shop code/UTM used; customer selects the shop at checkout (when enabled); 7-day post-match filed and verified. Priority: code/UTM > checkout selection > 7-day post-match. One reward per order.

Organic CarbonXtreme orders without attribution: no referral reward; the shop still keeps 100% of install labor.

Reconciliation: monthly attributed-orders statement; payout on a fixed date the following month.

5) Sample Margin Math (illustrative; not a quote)

Examples shown in USD$ / AUD$ using 1 USD ≈ 1.53 AUD (rounded; FX baseline is set quarterly).

  • Example A (small item) — MSRP USD$799 / ~AUD$1,222

Silver 22%: DBP ≈ USD$623 → gross on product ≈ USD$176; install labor billed separately (100% to shop).

    Gold 30%: DBP ≈ USD$559 → gross ≈ USD$240.

  • Example B (mid item) — MSRP USD$1,499 / ~AUD$2,294

    Silver 24%: DBP ≈ USD$1,139 → gross ≈ USD$360; potential 1%–2% quarterly rebate ≈ USD$11–22.

    Gold 30%: DBP ≈ USD$1,049 → gross ≈ USD$450; potential 2%–4% rebate ≈ USD$21–42.

  • Example C (large item) — MSRP USD$2,400 / ~AUD$3,672

    Silver 25%: DBP ≈ USD$1,800 → gross ≈ USD$600.

    Gold 32%: DBP ≈ USD$1,632 → gross ≈ USD$768.

Notes: Examples exclude freight/tax/labor. Final numbers follow the order quote and agreed Incoterms. AU partners may settle in AUD$ per CarbonXtreme’s quarterly FX baseline.

6) MAP & Price Discipline

  • MAP is enforced. No channel may go below CarbonXtreme’s MAP.
  • Violations: first warning → rebate suspension → supply pause; repeated cases terminate cooperation.
  • Monitoring: routine price checks online/offline with partners to keep premium positioning and healthy margins.

7) Apply, Review & Get Your Price List

  1. Submit docs: business license/shop profile, specialist models/projects, portfolio links, commercial & billing details.
  2. Initial review (3–5 business days). Upon approval, you’ll receive the quarterly dealer price list (PDF/CSV, watermarked, 30-day validity) and your rebate/terms frame.
  3. (Optional) Provisional Trade Rate during review for urgent purchases if documents are filed.
  4. Quarterly review to maintain/upgrade/remediate; results shared by email & WhatsApp.

8) How this relates to the Installer Program

  • Paths do not stack:

    D2C + Installer / Lead Passreferral reward

Dealer purchasestanding dealer discount + quarterly rebate/terms

  • Install labor is always 100% the shop’s revenue.

FAQs

Q1. What exactly is the dealer buy price (DBP) and how is it calculated?

A. DBP is derived from MSRP via a standing dealer discount by tier: DBP = MSRP × (1 − discount%). Figures shown publicly are illustrative ranges only; your binding discount points are defined in your quarterly dealer price list and agreement addendum.

Q2. Does the Registered tier have to buy at retail?

A. No. Registered does not include a standing discount. You may request a one-time project quote (time/qty-limited). A Provisional Trade Rate may be offered at CarbonXtreme’s sole discretion during review after basic documents are filed; it can be withheld or withdrawn and does not constitute a standing price.

Q3. Why do you show discount/rebate/terms as ranges on the public page?

A. To prevent scraping and allow category/quarter calibration. Binding numbers are those in your watermarked quarterly price list and addendum, which CarbonXtreme may revise quarterly.

Q4. What are the current standing discount ranges by tier?

A. Public guidance only: Silver 22%–25% off MSRP, Gold 28%–32% off MSRP (category-dependent). Your price list governs.

Q5. How do quarterly rebates work? Do they stack with the standing discount?

A. Rebates are in addition to standing discounts and are calculated after the quarter on compliant receivables (tax/freight excluded). Public guidance: Silver 1%–2%, Gold 2%–4%. Actual eligibility and ceilings are governed by your price list/addendum.

Q6. How are payment terms granted? Can I start at Net 30?

A. Terms are by approval. New partners typically start prepaid; after a quarter of healthy run-rate, compliance and clean reconciliation, Silver may receive Net 7–15 and Gold Net 15–30. Term bands are indicative; agreement controls.

Q7. What’s the boundary between dealer discounts and referral rewards? Can I combine them?

A. No. They apply to different order paths on a mutually exclusive basis:

  • Dealer purchase: standing discount + quarterly rebate/terms.

  • D2C with shop attribution: referral reward.

    One benefit path per order.

Q8. How is attribution established for rewards (so it doesn’t affect dealer pricing)?

How is attribution established for referral rewards (so pricing remains unaffected)?

A. Any one of: (1) your code/UTM is used; (2) the customer selects your shop at checkout (when enabled); (3) a 7-day post-match is filed and validated by CarbonXtreme. Priority: code/UTM > checkout selection > post-match. One reward per order. Unverifiable claims may be declined.

Q9. Do you enforce MAP? What happens if someone advertises below MAP?

A.Yes. CarbonXtreme enforces MAP with measures up to and including suspension of rebates and supply or termination. Enforcement steps and timelines may vary at CarbonXtreme’s discretion.

Q10. Will you send me an actual price sheet? What about confidentiality?

A. Upon approval you receive a watermarked quarterly price list (PDF/CSV, 30-day validity window). It is confidential and for internal use only. Unauthorized disclosure may result in immediate suspension, recall of price lists, and legal remedies.

Q11. Can I settle in AUD? How is FX handled?

A. USD$ / AUD$ are supported. AUD$ follows CarbonXtreme’s quarterly FX baseline. Public examples are illustrative; the quarterly documents prevail. CarbonXtreme may update FX baselines in response to market conditions.

Q12. Do you offer DDP-to-shop and which Incoterms are supported?

A. Where eligible and legally permissible, DDP-to-shop can be arranged with itemized components (GST/duty, clearance, last-mile). We also support DAP/EXW/FOB by agreement. Quoted transit windows are targets and subject to lane capacity, customs clearance variability, and seasonal surcharges.

Q13. Are there MOQs or quarterly targets to keep my tier?

A. No universal MOQ on the public program. However, rebate eligibility and discount points correlate with quarterly run-rate and compliance. Certain large/custom items may carry project-level MOQ or slotting as specified in the quote.

Q14. How do I move up (or down) between Registered / Silver / Gold?

A. A quarterly review evaluates sell-through/attribution, MAP compliance, after-sales closure, and content participation to maintain/upgrade/remediate. Tier affects discount range, rebate ceiling, and term band. Violations may trigger downgrade or suspension.

Q15. Can I operate only as a dealer and skip Installer/Lead Pass?

A. The program is quarterly-calibrated. CarbonXtreme aims to provide advance notice for material updates; once issued, the latest price list and addendum govern.

Q16. What happens if the program terms change mid-year?

A. Response and handling timelines are targets (e.g., typically within one business day for initial replies) and may vary by case complexity, documentation quality, and seasonality. They are not service guarantees unless expressly stated in a signed agreement.
