The cutout clears the underside of your hood. Cars with the factory hood take the Factory Hood profile. An Alpha-N hood interferes with the standard panel, and we supply a dedicated headlight panel version cut for it at no extra cost.

The MP Style engine cover, Silver brace brackets and alternate V2 bolt colors are CarbonXtreme options and are not part of the setup shown on RAG's car. Fitment and installation

We review your fitment selections before dispatch

This package is for BMW G80 M3, G81 M3 Touring, G82 M4, G83 M4 Convertible and G87 M2 models with the S58 engine. We record and review your drive configuration, vehicle model and required headlight panel cutout profile before dispatch. Your engine cover, CSL brace bracket finish, carbon finish and V2 bolt color selections are retained with the order.

01. Confirm the carSelect M2 (G87) or M3/M4 (G80/G82), choose left-hand or right-hand drive, and confirm whether the headlight panels need the Factory Hood or Alpha-N Hood cutout profile.
02. Fit the panelsInstall the cooling shroud, corner panels, ECU cover and headlight panels at their defined positions.
03. Fit the center coverInstall the selected OEM Style or MP Style engine cover before the brace is fitted.
04. Install the brace lastInstall the CSL style brace with your selected Black or Silver bracket finish, then install the V2 titanium bolts in your selected color.
Compatibility limit: Intake covers cannot be combined with this package. The CSL style brace occupies the same installation area. Professional installation is recommended for the complete conversion.

Configuration Questions

What is included in the complete RAG Spec package?

The package contains the radiator cooling shroud, ECU and battery terminal cover, corner panel pair, headlight panel pair, CSL style carbon fiber strut brace with the selected Black or Silver bracket finish, V2 titanium bolt kit in the selected color and the selected OEM Style or MP Style engine cover. Every component is linked in the package section above.

Which engine cover matches the reference configuration?

Choose OEM Style to match the engine cover shown on RAG's car, or MP Style if you prefer a center design inspired by M Performance. The CSL brace bracket finish is selected separately. Black matches the reference configuration, while Silver changes only the bracket finish.

Which CSL brace bracket finish matches the reference configuration?

Black is used on RAG's car. Silver uses the same carbon fiber brace and changes only the CNC-machined bracket finish. Black and Silver have the same package price.

Is the M badge included with the engine cover?

No. Reuse a compatible M badge from your existing engine cover, or source one separately.

Can I buy this package without an engine cover?

No. This RAG Spec page is intentionally limited to a complete package with either OEM Style or MP Style. The S58 engine bay builder and the linked individual product pages cover other configurations.

Are intake covers included?

No. Intake covers are not included and cannot be installed together with the CSL style brace because they occupy the same installation area.

What changes between M3 and M4 versus M2?

The selected vehicle controls the correct headlight panel configuration. The selected drive configuration controls the correct corner panel configuration. We review both selections before dispatch.

Can I choose Matte carbon or a different bolt color?

Yes. Matte carbon is quoted per order because it takes extra finishing work to keep the sheen even across every piece. Selecting Matte under Carbon Finish brings up the quote request, and we come back with a firm price. For the bolts, choose Black, Gold, Green, Blue, Neochrome or Purple under V2 Titanium Bolt Color. The reference configuration uses Gloss carbon and Gold bolts.

How is shipping calculated?
