Every lid ships with a matched gas strut kit and the mounting hardware for a lightweight setup, so it opens and holds the way it should. That shape is the M4 CSL, adapted to the G87 by the aftermarket before the M2 CS even arrived, so the market is now full of it and of copies of it. The production M2 CS has its own ducktail, related to the CSL look but its own shape. This lid is built to that M2 CS shape, the part many owners come to us for because it is hard to find anywhere else.
